Now may be the last chance to see what goes under the floor. 2 x 10 floor joists capped with 2 x 4s and secured by double 2 x 12 headers reveal the quality of construction that will prevail through this project. Notice the moisture barrier that protects the wood from any moisture below. Then comes a thick fiberglass insulation to keep the floor cozy warm in the winter time.
